INCAPTEK developed a sustainable technology to produce nanofibre non-woven fabric from polyimide for Li-ion battery separators. Due to its fire resistance and extremely low thermal conductivity, it can also be used for battery housing for high-temperature protection and thermal runaway mitigation.
